  25. Good idea, since you havn't a hope in hell of getting a job these days without
  26. being vastly over-qualified, he should do the work. He wouldn't get anything
  27. for it, but perhaps working for nothing is a good way to get a job. With all
  28. these animators working for nothing, market forces will do their thing, and
  29. old-timers with steady jobs might find their jobs not quite as steady as they
  30. thought, as clients come to think that reasonable fees are too high...
  31. Come on! You think this student is out of touch with the real world?!? You
  32. expect that working somehow magically lands a job? How is he supposed to work
  33. (before the job mysteriously appears) if he hasn't got his own equipment
  34. because people with established jobs bend over backwards to prevent students
  35. getting discounts?

  37. I'm not saying the world is easy, nor does having a job make it so, but really 
  38. - arguing for a catch 22 situation strikes me as silly in the extreme.
